Icing Test Services for Aerospace, Defence and Industrial Equipment
SKC Environ Lab provides icing test services to evaluate how equipment and components perform when exposed to controlled ice accumulation and freezing-rain conditions. Icing testing helps assess whether ice formation can affect a product’s operation, moving parts, seals, hinges, covers, connectors or controls. Test conditions are planned against the applicable standard and customer-approved specification.
Our icing test capability combines controlled sub-zero temperature conditions with chilled-water spray to support planned ice accumulation and post-exposure functional checks. Testing can be arranged for suitable components and assemblies, subject to sample dimensions, test requirements and confirmation of the applicable procedure.
