Objective

The objective of the test was to verify that the APC UPS complies with the safety requirements of IS 16242 (Part 1): 2014 / IEC 62040-1:2008, including protection against electric shock, insulation integrity, temperature rise, mechanical safety, and safe operation under normal and fault conditions.

Key Result

The UPS successfully passed all applicable BIS safety requirements. The product demonstrated compliance in areas including electrical safety, protective earthing, insulation, wiring, mechanical strength, fire resistance, temperature rise, and abnormal operating conditions. No non-conformities were observed, and the sample was found to meet all relevant requirements of IS 16242 (Part 1): 2014 / IEC 62040-1:2008.
